A Call for National Volunteers.

WE gladly make room for the following opportune call for an organised corps of national volunteers for social and political work which Mr. Duni Chand, Bar-at-Law, the energetic and ever vigilant Honorary Secretary of the Indian Association, Lahore, and President of the Special Conference held at Amritsar, makes. Mr. Duni Chand is entitled to the ready and willing co-operation of all interested in the progress of the national cause, and we heartily associate ourselves with the call. In connection with every important function there is a portion of the work to be done which is clearly marked out for the rising generation, and the carrying out of which by itself constitutes an education and a training, the true value of which it is not easy to estimate, but the need for which in the organisation of national work it is impossible to exaggerate. The call is one which should evoke the prompt and adequate response it so richly deserves.
