Chandigarh, January 11

A horrendous mix-up between India skipper Rohit Sharma and batter Shubman Gill during the first T20I against Afghanistan in Mohali, sparked a meme fest on social media.

Team India suffered an early blow after Rohit Sharma was run-out for a duck on the second ball, while chasing a target of 159 being set by Afghanistan.

While departing to pavilion, the Indian skipper looked ‘furious’ over Shubman Gill, who was on the non-striker end, for not paying heed to his call for a quick single.

Soon after the dismissal, cricket enthusiasts took to ‘X’ with hilarious takes and poking fun at Gill.
