The Sri Guru Nanak Gurpurb Committee will facilitate the children who have topped the district-level inter-school kirtan and declamation contests.

They will be honoured on Gurpurb at the Golden Temple complex on November 23.

The winning students will get prizes during Dharmik Diwan at Gurdwara Diwan Hall Manji Sahib.

GS Bedi, financial secretary of the committee, said the panel conducted the kirtan and declamation competitions of schoolchildren from October 29 to November 5. “Students from about 30 schools took part in the contests,” he added.
