Though most of the students on Thursday found the CBSE Class X Math question paper average, a few said that the trigonometry section was quite difficult.

Balwant Kaur, a math teacher at Senior Study II, said, “An average student must have faced difficulty in attempting a question in the trigonometry section. It was lengthy compared to the last year’s.”

Jasmine of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School, said, “It was an average paper.”

But for Rishi Moudgil, a student of Senior Study II, it was not at all difficult.

Talking about the trigonometry section, Khushi Khanna, a Class X student of Delhi Public School, said, “The paper was neither easy nor difficult. Trigonometry part was a bit tricky.”

A student of Spring Dale Senior School, Utkarsh, said, “Trigonometry was time consuming. I am hopeful of scoring above 75 marks.”

Jaspal Kaur, a mathematics teacher at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School, said, “The difficulty level of the paper was on higher side.”

Anita Bhalla, nodal officer, CBSE, said, “ As many as 7,233 candidates had registered out of which 7201 appeared in Amritsar district.”
