TARN TARAN: The Harike police have registered a case in connection with the theft of a truck (MP09HC6993). The theft took place a month ago and the case was lodged on Friday.



TARN TARAN: The Harike police have registered a case in connection with the theft of a truck (MP09HC6993). The theft took place a month ago and the case was lodged on Friday. The complainant, Jaspal Singh, of Kirtowal village had parked the  truck at the fuel station in Kirtowal village. He did so because it was raining that day and taking the truck to his residence was almost impossible. The truck was stationed alongside the road next to the fuel station, the complainant mentioned. After two days, he found the vehicle stolen. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Palwinder Singh said Section 379 of the IPC had been slapped and efforts were being made to trace the truck. OC

Unidentified Body found

TARN TARAN: The Sarhali police found the body of an unidentified person from Jagatpur village, 25 km from here, on Saturday. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Surinder Singh, investigating officer, said a report under Section 174 of the CrPC had been lodged. He said the body would be kept at the mortuary of the local Civil Hospital for 72 hours for identification. If no one turns  up, the body would be cremated. The deceased appears to be aged around 35 years. OC
