‘Rapist-killer’ taken to Jhansi

GURUGRAM: The police have taken alleged rapist-killer Sunil to Jhansi for corroborative forensic evidence to verify his purported confessions.

Gurugram, November 23

The police have taken alleged rapist-killer Sunil to Jhansi for corroborative forensic evidence to verify his purported confessions.

Sunil had reportedly told the police that he had hidden the clothes worn during his heinous acts. He was taken to Jhansi to recover the clothes and collect samples of semen and blood as well.

“Sunil claimed that he had hidden the clothes at his hideout. The clothes are major evidence to get his samples. We expect more evidence and leads from Jhansi, in addition to details about a murder he confessed to having committed there,” said an investigator.

“He mentioned keeping some articles of his victims. These can be important pieces of evidence, but have not found these so far,” said the official. — TNS
