Association announces office-bearers

AMRITSAR: The Guru Nanak Dev University Pensioners’ Association announced the names of its office-bearers on Sunday.



Amritsar, January 6

The Guru Nanak Dev University Pensioners’ Association announced the names of its office-bearers on Sunday. The announcement was made by association president Amarjit Singh Bai in consultation with other members.

Prof Sarup Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of senior vice-president. Vice-presidents are Prof VK Taneja and Baljit Singh Saini, general secretary is Prof Balwant Singh, finance secretary is Surjit Singh, joint secretary is Kuljit Singh and press secretary is Dilbagh Singh Randhawa. Besides, 11 executive members have also been elected. They are Baldev Singh Gill, Daljit Singh, Gulshan Kumar, Hardev Singh, Jagdish Singh Gandhi, Kulwant Singh Bandal, Manmohan Singh Dhillon, Prof Parminder Singh, Sardari Lal, Satwant Singh, Sham Mohan, Chanchal Singh and Inder Mohan.—TNS
