Three armed persons looted iron shuttering and other construction material from an under construction building after taking the watchman and labourers hostage.
The police have registered a case under Sections 392, 148 and 149, IPC, in this connection while there was no breakthrough in the case so far.
Mohan Kumar, the complainant, stated to the police that he returned home after leaving watchman Beer Singh and labourers Ranjit Kumar, Suman Kumar and Mallu Kumar at his under construction building in the Majitha Road area here on Wednesday night. He said next day when he went to the site, Beer Singh informed him that three unidentified persons had barged into the complex and took away 72 iron shuttering plates, iron scoops and other material besides their mobile phones.
