Amritsar, May 22
The state chapter of the Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons of India conducted a continous dental education session on orbital reconstruction here yesterday.
Dr Rudiger M Zimmerer, oral consultant and Maxillofacial surgeon at Hannover Medical School, Germany, was the guest speaker.
He interacted with postgraduate students and faculty members about various treatment measures for orbital fractures.
He also emphasised the role and need for navigation surgery for the better outcome in surgery. Students put forth questions and got answers from Zimmerer. — TNS
