AMRITSAR: Amritsar: Prof Manoj Kumar, in charge examinations of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), has informed through a press release that due to the rehearsals for the Lok Sabha elections, the theory and practical exams, scheduled to be held on May 5, have been postponed.

Amritsar: The 21-member committee, constituted by Sarbat Khalsa-appointed parallel jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara, has announced to organise a march from Talwandi Sabo to Badal village on May 12. Baljinder Singh of committee said that in continuity of the protests for various issues, the march would be attended by people from across the state. He said that the main demands include punishments for culprits of the sacrilege, arrests of people guilty of  firing at Behbal Kalan, release of Sikh youth who have completed their jail sentence and punishment for Maur bomb blast and Nakodar firing incident. “We will ontinue to expose the SAD,” he added. — TNS
