TARN TARAN: The Patti police nabbed a man with 16,800 intoxicating tablets from Saido village on Friday. SP (Investigation) Tilak Raj said on Saturday said the accused was identified as Bhagwan Singh Raju of Jaur Singh Wala village.



TARN TARAN: The Patti police nabbed a man with 16,800 intoxicating tablets from Saido village on Friday. SP (Investigation) Tilak Raj said on Saturday said the accused was identified as Bhagwan Singh Raju of Jaur Singh Wala village. He said the accused was known as doctor among those whom he sold drugs. A police party, headed by Patti DSP Sohan Singh, caught him and seized the drugs. A case under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against him. OC

1 held for theft

Tarn Taran: A resident of Sheron village, 10 km from here, has been arrested by the Sarhali police with a stolen bike. The police said the accused, Sonu, was riding a Splendor motorcycle without number plate and he failed to produce the registration certificate (RC) of the bike. OC

Company’s area manager Pardeep Singh handed over the keys to SGPC secretary Manjit Singh Batth and Darbar Sahib manager Jaswinder Singh Deenpur.
