TARN TARAN: Four bike-borne miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 1,43,301 from an employee of a private finance company on Monday noon near Shaheed village, 35 km from here.

Four bike-borne miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 1,43,301 from an employee of a private finance company on Monday noon near Shaheed village, 35 km from here.

The Patti Sadar police have registered a case under Section 379-B of the IPC. The victim, Bhagat Singh of Dabwali Dhab, in his complaint to the police said that the robbers snatched his bag when he was returning after collection of payment from unemployed women who had been given loan for self-employment. The robbers managed to escape with the cash bag. — OC
