Railways revises schedule of 93 trains

AMRITSAR: The Northern Railway has temporarily revised the schedule of 93 trains, including 13 trains that pass though Amritsar, from July 12.

The Northern Railway has temporarily revised the schedule of 93 trains, including 13 trains that pass though Amritsar, from July 12.

The change in timing will pave the way for carrying out repair work in different railway sections.

Sources in the Railways said the decision might cause inconvenience to passengers who had already made their plan to travel by train according to the old schedule.

Railway officials said for providing better services to the passengers, it had been decided to temporarily revise the timings of 93 trains.

They said as per the new schedule, the arrival time of such trains had been changed by 15 minutes to 60 minutes from July 12.

The arrival time of trains that pass through Amritsar rly station — Dadar Express, Howrah-Amritsar Mail, Howrah-Amritsar Express, Dehradun Express, Saryu Yamuna Express, Shahid Express, Jallianwala Bagh Express, Chattisgarh Express, Indore Amritsar Express, Katihar Express, Hirakud Express, Amritsar Nangaldam Express and Samjhauta Express — has been changed.
