Two women arrested for fake stamps on passports

AMRITSAR: Immigration officials at Shri Guru Ramdas Jee International Airport arrested two women for fake stamps on their passports here on Monday.



Amritsar, April 16

Immigration officials at Shri Guru Ramdas Jee International Airport arrested two women for fake stamps on their passports here on Monday. The suspects have identified as Madhu Bala, a resident of Basant Avenue in Ludhiana, and Davinder Kaur, a resident of Shahkot in Jalandhar.

Immigration officer Kulwant Rai said the suspects came on Malindo Airline Flight No. OD-21 from Malaysia and while checking, stamps on their passports were found to be fake. A case under Section 420 of the IPC has been registered against the suspects. — TNS
