Bathinda, July 9
Doctors from the region dwelt on topics ranging from protection of patients from radiation and radiation hazards during a CME conducted at the Advanced Cancer Institute in Bathinda on Sunday.
The event was organised to mark the 3rd foundation day of the institute. Various aspects like patients’ safety with regard to radiological and radiation oncology protection was discussed during the CME.
It was discussed that pregnant women must not be exposed to excessive radiation and how patients could be treated effectively with less exposure to radiation. — TNS
