Drive launched to encourage people to vote

BATHINDA: The Bathinda Vikas Manch has launched a drive to encourage the masses to cast their vote without any influence.

The Bathinda Vikas Manch has launched a drive to encourage the masses to cast their vote without any influence.

Volunteers of the organisation have been organising various awareness programmes at many places under the drive. Today, they organised an event at Dhobiana Basti.

Rakesh Narula, president of the organisation, said every voter should cast their vote freely.

He said, “We must come out of our houses on the day of polling to cast our vote. If we are not satisfied with any candidate then we have an option of none of the above (NOTA).”

He told the gathering that they could file any complaint regarding the poll violation by clicking on SAMADHAN on the website — ww.ceopunjab.nic.in — of the State Election Commission or by sending a SMS on 07738299899.

The volunteers of the organisation also appealed to the people to spread the message further. The organisation will continue to oragnise such events in the comming days.
