Faridkot girl stands third with 99.96 per cent

Mandeep Kaur of Sant Mohan Das Memorial Senior Secondary School, Kot Sukhia, stood third in the state in the sports category with 99.96 per cent marks in Class XII, the result of which was announced by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Monday.

A kabaddi player in the sports wing of her school, besides proving her mettle in sports, Mandeep Kaur is known for her outstanding academic record.

Daughter of a driver, besides her high rank in education this year, Mandeep’s kabaddi team had bagged the second position in the state in the 63rd Punjab School Games.

She had won gold medal in the Punjab Junior Kabaddi Association tournament. Having three siblings, two sisters and one brother, Mandeep thanks her father for supporting her in the playground as well as in the classroom.
