On August 15, his family was informed that he had died under mysterious circumstances in Canada. However, after family sough the Ministry of Home Affair’s assistance in bringing his body back, the Indian embassy in Canada helped the family.

After remaining missing for about 20 days, the body of Roxy was found in a secluded house in Surrey.

For the past about two weeks, the family members in Kotkapura had been trying to know his whereabouts until they received a phone call from Canadian police officials here on August 15. The family was told that Roxy’s body was found from a house under mysterious circumstances.

“Canadian police officials have conveyed to us that poisoning had emerged as the suspected cause of death in the autopsy. I have already spent most of my savings to send Roxy on study visa. My son had no rivalry or enemy with anyone,” said Roxy’s father Bhagwan Dass Chawla.
