Students made aware of practical knowledge of computer

BATHINDA: The Department of Compute Science of the SSD College of Professional Studies, Bhokhra, organised a seminar to make students aware of the use of various practical applications of the computer here today.

The Department of Compute Science of the SSD College of Professional Studies, Bhokhra, organised a seminar to make students aware of the use of various practical applications of the computer here today.

The seminar was organised in association with the Institute of Computer Accountant (ICA).

The students were apprised of the practical knowledge of the computer. They were guided regarding employment in computer-related fields.

The students were also made aware of the scholarship tests conducted on a regular basis. Sonu Jindal, manager, ICA, stressed on practical knowledge than bookish knowledge.

He said today, there was a need for practical education in the Indian educational system due to lack of skilled workers in any field.

The students attended the seminar with great enthusiasm. At the end of the seminar, principal Laghima Sharma, Prof Shikha Aggarwal and Dr Rajesh Singla thanked the guests for imparting valuable knowledge through the seminar.

He assured the students that such seminars would be organised on a regular basis in future too.
