BJP chief to hold session with intellectuals of tricity

CHANDIGARH:BJP national president Amit Shah will hold a session with Intellectuals from the tricity during his two-day visit to Chandigarh.

BJP national president Amit Shah will hold a session with Intellectuals from the tricity during his two-day visit to Chandigarh. 

The intellect cell of the BJP is organising an event with the BJP supremo at the Law Bhawan, Sector 37, on the last day of his visit before he departs from the city. 

“The intention is not only to draw feedback from the intellectual class but the session will also serve as a participatory forum to form new policies for the region, which will sharpen professionalism” said Ravinder Pathania, media coordinator, BJP, Chandigarh unit. City BJP president Sanjay Tandon visited the Law Bhawan and reviewed the arrangements. Earlier, the party made arrangements for welcoming Shah and had a series of meetings to constitute a dozen of committee to streamline the event. “Amit Shah is on 95-day tour across the country. He has already travelled to Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Tripura, while his Chandigarh visit is scheduled as part of the same. His visit include meeting with party workers, session with councillors, review their performance and future projection.” said Pathania. TNS
