Chandigarh, April 16

Even as the BJP is yet to announce its Lok Sabha election candidate for Chandigarh, it has strengthened on poll campaigning with the launch of two campaign vehicles today.

Chandigarh BJP election in-charge Capt Abhimanyu, president Sanjay Tandon and former MP Satya Pal Jain flagged off the vehicles from the party office, Kamalam.

However, MP Kirron Kher was not there. Capt Abhimanyu said in a press conference, “Since the programme was finalised last evening, she already had her campaign events lined up.”

Captain Abhimanyu said, “The achievements of the Modi Government have established a new record of development. There is a positive sentiment among the citizens.” — TNS
