CGC students have a gala time during annual function

The Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, celebrated their annual function ‘Virsa-2019’ with pomp and show on Thursday.

Amandeep Singh Bains ADC, Development, Mohali, presided over the function. Chandigarh University Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu graced the occasion. 

Bians said achievements made by the students of CGC Jhanjeri speak about the quality of education. He said: “If we want to be on top of the world, we have to empower the youth through quality education.”

He said education and learning could only give the directions, but success came to those students who work hard with discipline and perseverance. In all, 124 students, who had attained the top 10 merit positions in the university, were also honoured.
