The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) sold two flats in an e-auction on Friday. An HIG flat in Sector 38 (West) was sold for Rs 2. 13 crore against the reserve price of Rs 2 crore.
Another flat was sold in Sector 45. The reserve price of the HIG flat was fixed at Rs 1,18, 46, 236 and it was sold for Rs 1,18, 96,236. Sources said the slump in the real estate market was the reason behind the poor response to the auction. The e-auction for the remaining properties will be held on December 26 .
