Communication staff told to remain alert

CHANDIGARH:In view of the forthcoming Independence Day, Milind Mahadeo Dumbere, SSP, Headquarters and Communication, briefed the communication staff.

In view of the forthcoming Independence Day, Milind Mahadeo Dumbere, SSP, Headquarters and Communication, briefed the communication staff.

The SSP directed the staff to remain vigilant in conveying information to all PCRs, police parties, naka points, border check post and neighbouring states as soon as any crucial information is received at the Police Control Room.

About 150 officials, including 3 inspectors, 7 SIs, 12 ASIs, 34 HCs, 78 constables and 16 Home Guard volunteers, attended the briefing. The SSP guided the staff with examples to apply their mind while performing duty in a proper manner.

Roshan Lal, SP (Communication), also discussed about the problems faced by the staff while performing their duty.
