DAV boys in volleyball finals

Boys from DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, overcame Athletic Club, Sector 7, in a sea-saw battle to enter the final of the Volleyball Championship, at the Sector 7 Sports Complex, here today.

DAV boys won 25-21 22-25 25-15 25-20 to set up the title clash with DAV Model School, Sector 15, who defeated Punjab University Campus 25-12 25-14 25-20.

Meanwhile, in the junior girls’ final, Athletic Club beat DAV, Sector 8, 25-16 25-21. Hospytek Club finished third. In the men’s senior category, Sports Complex, Sector 46, beat Moti Ram School, Sector 27, 25-12 25-12 25-15, to enter the final, while in the women’s semifinal, Athletic Club defeated Hospytek Club 25-08 25-10 25-15.
