Chandigarh, October 20

DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, defeated Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 26, in a youth category match of the State Sub-Junior and Youth Championship at the Sector 7 Sports Complex, here, on Saturday. DAV boys won 25-24 25-19. 

Panjab University Campus registered a 25-12 25-14 win over GMSSS, Sector 28, while Shivalik Public School, Sector 41, humbled Youth Club, Sector 41, 25-23 25-11.

In the youth girls’ competition, Athletics Club, Sector 7, drubbed GMSSS, Sector 33, 25-13 25-05. 

Hospitech Club beat PG Government College for Girls, Sector 42, 25-14 25-05, while DAV College, Sector 10, registered a 25-16 25-18 win over PU Campus. GMSSS, Sector 26, beat GMSSS, Sector 20, 25-14 25-9. — TNS
