The leadership talk on ‘Art of Decision-Making’ by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval at UIET, PU, was streamed live on television and social media platforms. As many as 400 students of the department attended the talk.

Sharing his views on decision-making, Doval said, “If consequences affect a large number of people for a considerable amount of time then it is a tough decision.”

He said communication systems were the backbone of national security and they stood the risk of being infiltrated and penetrated. “Young minds make substantial contribution to the national security by giving out of the box ideas,” Doval said.

Asking the youth to develop the right attitude, he said, “How one identifies oneself plays a crucial role in his/her overall life. If you only think about yourself, you are selfish, but if you identify yourself with a bigger platform (say, your country), then you become a bigger personality.” — TNS
