Chandigarh: Retired UT police inspector Kuldeep Singh has filed a civil suit claiming damages of Rs 75 lakh against the UT Administration and the police for implicating him in a false case in which he was acquitted by a local court.

Retired UT police inspector Kuldeep Singh has filed a civil suit claiming damages of Rs 75 lakh against the UT Administration and the police for implicating him in a false case in which he was acquitted by a local court.The court has issued a notice to respondents to file reply by July 18. The petitioner stated that a false case had been registered against him and his family members in a property case. They were accused of tearing the uniform of policemen. TNS
