Panchkula: The Ghaggar is close to the danger level in Panchkula. 

  • The district administration has advised people to stay away from rivers, drains and water bodies during the rainy season. Officials have also advised people residing in slums and on the banks of the Ghaggar to stay away from the river if the water level rises. 
  •  Even residents of the Morni area also finding it difficult to cross the river as there is bridge for the purpose Recently, the authorities had identified 13 vulnerable points.  Till now, officials have failed to stop people from entering the river. TNS
