Investigation bureau starts probe into Neha murder case

A team of Bureau of Investigation (BoI) today visited the office of the Food and Drug Administration and started investigation into the murder of Neha Shoree, Zonal Licensing Authority, who was shot dead in her office on March 29.

Balwinder Singh, a resident of Morinda, had killed Neha by pumping in four bullets into her body when she was sitting in her office before killing himself when he found it was impossible to escape from the spot.

As per information, a team of BoI headed by SP Ajinder Singh visited the office of the Drug and Food Administration today and recorded the statement of various staff members working there. DSP Gurdev Singh Dhaliwal and Kharar Sadar SHO Bhagwant Riar were also present. The team also visited both spots, the room where Neha was shot dead and the spot outside the office where Balwinder committed suicide. — OC
