Mohali to accord warm welcome to nagar kirtan

MOHALI:Mohali is all set to accord a warm welcome to international “nagar kirtan” dedicated to 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, which is expected to reach the city late night today.

Mohali is all set to accord a warm welcome to international “nagar kirtan” dedicated to 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, which is expected to reach the city late night today.

Several parts of Mohali have been decorated with flags, buntings, flowers and balloons. The devotees have set up tents and “langar” pandals to welcome the procession.

 “Nagar kirtan will be halted at guudwara Amb Sahib in case it reaches late. After passing through several parts of Mohali, the procession will enter Chandigarh,” said the organisers.

The police have made elaborate arrangements to avoid jams or untoward incident.
