Neha outpunched Paramjeet in the 46kg category on the opening day of the 40th Junior (Men) and 16th Junior (Women) Chandigarh State Boxing Championships at PMLSD Public School, Sector 32, here today. 

Jyoti outwitted Lili, while Akanksha got the better of Rajwiner. Neha overpowered Jyoti in her opening bout. 

Kajal beat Saneha in the 48kg bout, while Prachi pummeled Kanishka in the 54kg category.

In the boy’s 46kg category, Nitesh knocked out Vikrant, while Lovely ousted Harish. Neeraj had an easy outing against Vineet. 

Pankaj Kumar was too good for Divyansh in the boys’ 48kg category. Jatinder outplayed Anirudh and Dev Prakash dismissed Shubham on the opening day of the championships. 

In the 57kg contest, Mohan humbled Sanyam, while Yudhvir downed Anuj Singh.
