Play on plight of elderly staged in city

PATIALA: The North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala, in collaboration with the Kala Kriti, staged a Punjabi play ‘Yeh Zindgi’ at Sahir Ludhiavni Auditorium of the Municipal Corporation (MC).

The North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala, in collaboration with the Kala Kriti, staged a Punjabi play ‘Yeh Zindgi’ at Sahir Ludhiavni Auditorium of the  Municipal Corporation (MC). 

Based on the play of famous writer Chitra Modgill, the play has been written and directed by noted theatre director and actress Parminder Pal Kaur. It throws light on the life and regrets of old people who feel neglected. 

The artistes included Parminder Pal Kaur, Ravi Bhushan, Chandan Bloch, Charvi Sharma, MM Sayal, Roop Kaur Sandhu, Vicky, Gautam Sharma and Surjit. Satinderpal Kaur Walia, social worker and general secretary of Kala Kriti, conducted the stage.

MC Commissioner GS Kharia was the chief guest.
