KHARAR: The police are yet to arrive at any conclusion in the murder case of a woman teacher, Sarabjit Kaur, who was shot dead outside her school on Thursday morning by an unidentified person.

The police are yet to arrive at any conclusion in the murder case of a woman teacher, Sarabjit Kaur, who was shot dead outside her school on Thursday morning by an unidentified person.

According to information, the police are probing the contract killing angle.

Notably, Sarabjit Kaur was shot dead by an unidentified person who had covered his face with a shawl outside her school, The Knowledge Bus Global School, in Sunny Enclave, Kharar, at 8 am on Thursday. Earlier, it was said that the victim was married to Harvinder Singh. Later, it came to light that they were in a live-in-relationship.

According to information, whereabouts of Harvinder Singh are not known yet. His mobile phone is still switched off. According to information, he often used to visit India.

The police went to his village near Barnala. They questioned his mother about Harvinder, but she did not know much about him.

Two daughters of Harvinder Singh, who are 10 years and 7 years old, also could not tell anything about him.

According to information, the police have started investigating the case from the contract killing angle.

Kharar Sadar SHO Amandeep Singh said they still had no information about Harvinder Singh.
