Ryan International

Chandigarh: Students from Classes III to V participated in a speech competition held at Ryan International School. The event was filled with exuberant voice modulation and pitch control as children battled with fluency of speech and thought. Deepisha Rao (III-D), Kanav Galhotra (IV-D) and Akriti Kulavi (V-C) stood first in Classes III, IV and V, respectively.

Saint Soldier International School

Chandigarh: A seven-day NSS camp was conducted on theme 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and 'Disaster Management' at Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh. The camp's opening day began with a talk by Dr Seema wherein she apprised the volunteers of practices that prevent diseases and help maintain health and hygiene. The camp included presentations of NSS songs, poems and an oath for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Volunteers paid a visit to a senior citizen home to meet and spend time with the elderly. Under the guidance of yoga expert Jaswinder Kaur, the volunteers performed yogasanas and were told about various benefits of the same. A stress management session was organised wherein the resource person was Sister Poonam from the Prabhu Upvan Meditation Training Centre, Sector 28, Chandigarh. 

Chandigarh Public School  

Baltana: Students of Chandigarh Public School participated in Shaheed Udham Singh Menorial Karate Championship organised in Mohali. Mehak and Palak of Class I won the silver medal in the sub-junior category and Deep of Class I secured the third position by winning bronze medal in the sub-junior category. TNS
