The victim, Shelly Sharma of Sector 39, had filed a complaint with the Sector 17 branch of the bank and also lodged a DDR at the Sector 17 police station. The victim said she had lodged the complaint around a fortnight ago, but she was yet to get any response from the bank.

Shelly, an employee of the Punjab Industries Department, said Rs 11,500 was fraudulently withdrawn from her account by cloning her ATM card on November 21. She lodged a complaint with the police and the bank authorities the subsequent day. — TNS
