St. John’s go down to DPS boys

CHANDIGARH: Delhi Public School, Sector 40, overcame St. John’s School, Sector 26, 2-1 in the boys’ U-14 inter-school tennis championship here today.



Chandigarh, August 10

Delhi Public School, Sector 40, overcame St. John’s School, Sector 26, 2-1 in the boys’ U-14 inter-school tennis championship here today. 

St. Kabir School, Sector 26, registered a 2-1 win over Vivek High School, Sector 38, while Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, blanked Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 33, 2-0.

In another match, St. Anne’s got the better of Ryan International 2-0.   

Strawberry boys, meanwhile, drubbed Vivek High School 2-0 in the U-17 category. St. Stephen’s tamed St. John’s 2-0, while Delhi Public School defeated DAV School, Sector 15, 2-0.   

DAV School, Sector 15, had an easy outing against St. Anne’s, winning the match 2-0.  

Yesterday, Strawberry Fields had defeated St. Xavier’s School, Sector 44, 2-0 in an U-14 encounter. 

Delhi Public School, Sector 40, registered a 2-0 win over Gurukul Global School, Mani Majra. — TNS
