Surjit bags Best Youth Award

PANCHKULA:The five-day Youth Red Cross Training Camp concluded at Government Postgraduate College, Sector 1, Panchkula, today.

The five-day Youth Red Cross Training Camp concluded at Government Postgraduate College, Sector 1, Panchkula, today. The Best Youth Award was given to Surjit Kumar of the host college while the Best Counsellor Award was conferred upon Dr Renuka, assistant professor in English of Government PG College, Sector 1, Panchkula.

As many as 120 participants from five colleges took part in various competitions organised during the camp.

In the extempore, Shruti from the Brahmarishi College of Education, Virat Nagar, stood first; Ankita from the Government Postgraduate College for Women, Sector 14, Panchkula, second; and Sher Bahadur from Government Postgraduate College, Sector 1, Panchkula, third. In the debate competition, the Government Postgraduate College for Women, Sector 14, Panchkula, stood first; Brahmarishi College of Education, Virat Nagar, second; and Government Postgraduate College, Sector 1, Panchkula, third.
