CHANDIGARH: An Intra-Hostel Volleyball competition was organised at Boys’ Hostel No.3, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on Monday.

An Intra-Hostel Volleyball competition was organised at Boys’ Hostel No.3, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on Monday. Hostel warden Prof Sanjeev Gautam said apart from studies every student must take part in sports. Director of Sports, Prof Parminder Singh, and Dean Student Welfare (DSW), Prof Emanual Nahar, were the chief guests on the occasion.

Director sports appreciated the move to start the intra-hostel games as it helped in communication between hostellers become strong and utilise the energy of youth in a proper way.
