Chandigarh, June 13
Three persons, including a woman, were arrested under the NDPS Act from different parts of the city on Tuesday.
A woman resident of Sector 38, Gita, was arrested with 22 banned injections near the road separating the Grain Market and Sector 39.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against her at the Sector 39 police station. An investigation has been initiated into the case.
In another case, Harmandeep Singh of Shivalik Enclave, Nayagaon, was arrested with 10-gram smack near RIMT School in Mani Majra. A case has been registered at the Mani Majra police station.
The third arrest of Pritam Maurya, a resident of Ram Darbar, Phase-II, was made near his house after he was found in possession of 12 banned injections. A case has been registered at the Sector 31 police station. — TNS
