New Delhi, December 6

Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Ambedkar Nagar, Ashok Chauhan along with his supporters today joined the BJP. He is the second MLA after Maninder Singh Dhir who joined the BJP.
Chauhan said that AAP has lost its vision. There is no democracy in the party now. Without naming the leaders, he said that only five senior leaders have captured everything in the AAP and they have influenced the former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
"I have left the party as I felt suffocated. My victory in Ambedkar Nagar was a historic one as I had defeated the Congress stalwart and dalit leader Chaudhary Prem Singh who had been elected from the segment for the last 56 years. His name had appeared in the Guinness World Record, but I was not given importance in the party."
When asked why he had come back from Goa airport where he had gone to attend the BJP function, he said that "to escape the media focus".
Delhi BJP in-charge Prabhat Jhat said AAP is not a party. It is a group where people cannot survive for a long time. He said that some other people are also ready to join the party. Their names will be announced at the right time.
Meanwhile, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Rahul Rajpoot also joined the BJP saying that he was inspired by the vision given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
