Delhi BJP leaders today said the party has reached its highest-ever popularity mark on social networking sites. “The party’s page on a social networking site is more popular than the pages of any other political party in the country. The page is being accessed by around 25 lakh people regularly, the party claimed,” said Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay, while addressing a delegation of Dalit Professors from Delhi University.

The convener of the party’s IT cell, Sumit Bhasin, said yesterday, 6.89 lakh people visited the BJP page.

“On an average, more than 10,000 people like our posts on our page. The party’s social media campaign is a positive campaign. There is no adverse comment against any person or party on this page,” said Bhasin. The BJP page serves to publicise various programmes and functions among party workers.
