City sees coldest December day in 12 years

CHANDIGARH: The city today experienced the coldest day of December in the past 12 years with the maximum temperature reaching 22.4°C, one degree below normal.

Chandigarh, December 19

The city today experienced the coldest day of December in the past 12 years with the maximum temperature reaching 22.4°C, one degree below normal.

The nights in the city are colder than Shimla and Dharamsala where the minimum temperature was 8.4°C and 9.6°C, respectively, while in Chandigarh, the minimum temperature today was 6.7°C.

Meanwhile, two flights were cancelled today while nine flights and seven trains were delayed due to fog.
