Anurag slams govton AIIMS project

NEW DELHI: Anurag Thakur, MP from Hamirpur, today questioned the state government on the tardy progress of various development projects in his parliamentary constituency and also the state.

New Delhi, March 21

Anurag Thakur, MP from Hamirpur, today questioned the state government on the tardy progress of various development projects in his parliamentary constituency and also the state.

Raising the issue during zero hour in the Lok Sabha he said that AIIMS was sanctioned in his constituency in 2014 during the tenure of Dr Harsh Vardhan as union health minister.

In three years, the state government has not been even able to identify land for the same, Thakur said. Similarly, there is a delay on the part of the state government towards various projects like Central University, IIIT, CSD Depot, Indian Oil Depot, Hydro Engineering College, etc, for one reason or another.

He said the Central government should take necessary steps and lay foundation stone of Central university and AIIMS immediately. — TNS
