DEHRADUN: The Yoga Shakti Educational and Charitable Trust held the dance auditions for the second season of ‘Doon Superstar’ at the auditorium of Survey of India, here today.

The Yoga Shakti Educational and Charitable Trust held the dance auditions for the second season of ‘Doon Superstar’ at the auditorium of Survey of India, here today. This initiative has been taken by Suman Bhatia, the founder of the trust, to support the girl child and women empowerment.

The dance categories included solo, duet and group performances. The theme of the audition was based on topics like Swacch Bharat, family is love and unity in diversity. Over 20 participants took part in the audition. The next audition will take place on November 6 at JakhanYog Shakti Wellness Studio. The grand finale will be held on November 20.

“We are looking forward for the season 2 of Doon Superstars. The participants were excited and performed very well,” said Suman Bhatia.

“The winners, if willing, will be taken to a village to perform. A live performance in Dehradun will also be organised for the winner of the show,” Bhatia added.

She also announced various prizes for the winners of the show. A free workshop by the Dhanashree Mehta will also be organised for all finalists on November 19.
