Awaaz-e-Punjab leaders to meet in Delhi today

JALANDHAR: As the Congress leadership today claimed that all reports of talks with former MP and Awaaz-e-Punjab leader Navjot Singh Sidhu were baseless, Jalandhar Cantonment MLA and front leader Pargat Singh said such reactions were coming as the parties were feeling insecure because of their presence, particularly that of Sidhu.

Jalandhar, October 20

As the Congress leadership today claimed that all reports of talks with former MP and Awaaz-e-Punjab leader Navjot Singh Sidhu were baseless, Jalandhar Cantonment MLA and front leader Pargat Singh said such reactions were coming as the parties were feeling insecure because of their presence, particularly that of Sidhu.

Pargat, who has been claiming that their front incharge Sidhu is in talks with both Congress and AAP, said, “The four of us, including Bains brothers, will meet tomorrow in Delhi and decide the future course of action there.”

He said, “It is not Sidhu who is approaching the parties. Instead it’s the parties that are knocking at the doors of his flat in Delhi trying to negotiate with him.” — TNS
