Chandigarh: The Chandigarh BJP paid their registration fees through digital mode in its state executive meeting held today. The meeting of the committee was held today at the party office under the chairmanship of Sanjay Tandon, president, city BJP.

The Chandigarh BJP paid their registration fees through digital mode in its state executive meeting held today. 

The meeting of the committee was held today at the party office under the chairmanship of Sanjay Tandon, president, city BJP. 

MP Kirron Kher, former MP Satya Pal Jain, former Union Minister Harmohan Dhawan and Mayor Asha jaswal attended the meeting. 

More than 100 members of the executive committee paid fees using different modes of digital payment. The city unit has become the first state unit of the BJP where the members made the payment digitally during the meeting. 

Tandon, who has completed seven years as the president of the Chandigarh BJP said that it was a moment of pride for the party that it had won all elections from the panchyats to the MP during his tenure. He said the victory also gave them a new responsibility and all would have to live up to the expectation of the people. 

On this occasion Tandon in his speech also hinted for a possible change in the leadership when he said that the next executive meeting might be held under the new president.
