CM seeks funds for construction of courts

DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat has sought prompt release of funds for under construction buildings at various courts in the state.



Dehradun, December 12

Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat has sought prompt release of funds for under construction buildings at various courts in the state. The CM, who met Union Law Minister Ravishankar Prasad in Delhi, disclosed that construction work at various courts in the state was hampered due to delay in the release of funds. He said offices and accommodations would be constructed in Karanprayag, Tharali, Srinagar, Pauri and Lansdowne areas of Garhwal hills.

Similarly, accommodation for court employees is to be constructed in Udham Singh Nagar district. Further, a new district court complex will be constructed at Dehradun.

The Union Minister has reportedly assured the CM of suitable action. — TNS
