CM to deposit 25% of pay in relief fund

DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Harish Rawat has decided to deposit 25 per cent of his salary in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Chief Minister Harish Rawat has decided to deposit 25 per cent of his salary in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He gave direction in this regard to the Chief Secretary.

Surendra Kumar, media adviser to the Chief Minister, said it had also been decided that 10 per cent of the salaries of all ministers and others enjoying ministerial positions in the state would be deducted and deposited in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. It was also decided that in case of air travel, the Chief Minister, ministers and officials should use economy class.

The CM said all flyovers being built in Dehradun should be completed before January 26, 2016.
