SHIMLA: A body of forest range officer, posted in Chopal, identified as Malak Ram (58), was recovered near Nandla Khud in Chidgaon in Chopal of Shimla district today.

A body of forest range officer, posted in Chopal, identified as Malak Ram (58), was recovered near Nandla Khud in Chidgaon in Chopal of Shimla district today.

The deceased, a resident of Todsa village had been missing since October 28. Preliminary investigations pointed out that possibility of the deceased falling down 70 metres from the cliff under the influence of liquor could not be ruled out, investigations are in progress, police sources said.
